Before covid, we often used our live dance performances as a way to tell stories. From our winter Nutcracker to dance interpretations of classic literature in our July Portfolio, students are involved in the creative process of telling a story through movement. In the spring of 2021 we transitioned our storytelling exercises from movement to illustration and the written word. Footlight students had the opportunity to create an original story of their own in our online Storytelling Workshop.
