Sewing skills and costume construction has always been a part of the CSDC student education. Unable to have our usual sewing camps and costuming teams for our summer 2020 production, we shifted our costume education to the brainstorming and drawing end of theatrical costuming. Students were prompted with themes and characters for imaginary shows at each weeks costume design class. Each student has selected their favorite designs to share here. Many of these ideas sparked ideas for future CSDC show themes.

Designs by VictoriaVictoria is a happy, energetic child who likes to draw. She loves designer costumes and making a character to go with them, and then making a story or dance to go with the character. She loves cats and has three: Cannot, Make, and Me. Her two favorite things are thinking of cool designs and sleeping. Victoria is also positive that the oldest kid in a family should be in charge, so that she can easily tell her parents and little sister to do what she wants them to. Also so that she can order her little sister to leave her alone when she wants to be alone. Or simply get what she wants. She is fine with any of the outcomes. Victoria hopes you like her designs and wishes you good fashion in the days to come!
